Modnation Racers Artist Profile: Huck Gee

Recently the guys from Sony’s Modnation Racers  had a chance to interview Huck Gee about his toy work, custom and otherwise. The game is a cart racing game that allows players the ability to customize tracks, cars, and their characters as they see fit. The characters seem very much in the spirit of DIY toys and it’s refreshing to see something mainstream properly tackle the idea of vinyl toys. Check out the video below:

Here’s the previous episode starring artist and all around cool guy Jesse Hernandez.  If you havent checked out his show, Vinyl Addiction, i’d highly suggest it.

Huck Gee Releases Life Size Bronze Skullhead!

Via huckgee.com

This is some seriously heavy F’in metal. Huck and Fully Visual have outdone themselves. We think VinylPulse may have said it best, the new Huck Gee Skullhead in Bronze is in our opinion a Next Level piece. Without a doubt.” We have to agree, the finish is absolutely gorgeous… I think we’re in love. Tipping the scales at 40 lbs with marble base, it’s practically life size. This is an exclusive edition of 10 pieces, pure bronze, hand cast, American made, $1700 each. On sale March 25th at 10am PST exclusively via www.fullyvisual.com.
